Recent Haps. Yes, I said "haps".

It took me a while to get on the pinterest bandwagon, but I did it! I signed up a few months ago and have become an addict. Who is the little witch who introduced me to this?!

Anyways, if you have one, leave me  your link so I can follow you.

You can find me HERE. :)

Caption of my boards.

Does anybody else color coordinate their board covers? I am such a freak when it comes to certain things, it's rediculous. I find that much of the time I am OCD about things that don't matter. I wish I was OCD about my daughter's bedroom floor being picked up, or the dishes being done immediately following dinner. Instead, I can't handle the volume "level" in the car to be set at an uneven number. Seriously, if you are going to up the volume to 21, just make it an even 20!
Anyyyyways.

The movers are coming on FRIDAY! Ahhh! Can't wait! It's going to be a crazy life for a while, though! I can deal. We are moving to Michigan, y'all. *squeeee* I hate Michigan winters but I am definitely missing Lake Michigan, local brews, vegan restaurants, and family. We have never lived in our hometown as a married couple, and I can imagine it must be so nice to have that support of family around. I'm seeing regularly scheduled date nights in our future! I wonder what that's like...

When we get to Michigan, James will be doing full time school. He has already been to school for computer science, and long story short - years later, many different life paths, and because of the pursuit of happiness he is getting a new degree in Biometric Security (artificial intelligence stuff). They will be hard, intense classes, and I am sure it will be stressful for our whole family. I know we can do it and I am ready to support him all the way through! This will be great for our future and his career, so I am excited at what will unfold in the next few years!

I already know about the being poor part... trust me, I know! Ha ha -- but if any of you have a spouse or are in school yourself, let me know if you have any tips/advice for me about what to expect.

Off to get my buns into cleaning mode!...

That's awesome that you guys are headed back that way. It can be hard having your husband be in school full time, especially when they choose an intense career path. It's definitely doable though! Just expect to give him space to do hw, and just let them complain if they need to about how their teachers suck, haha!

Michigan eh? Yay for healthier places to eat!! I have to eat gf/cf/ef now and living here in the swamp are no healthy places to eat. Lol
Omg I am so OCD with things like that too. I don't care about leaving dirty dishes, until a couple days go by and then it drives me nuts. I however haven to have the living room clean before I watch a movie though. Also the same with me going to bed, there can't be clothes on the ground. I'm weird....

If it makes you feel any better, last year's winter was EASY!!!! I live in mid-Mi and it wasn't really cold and we had hardly any snow. Maybe you will get lucky again this winter?? :)

Ha! Love this! I am exactly the same about stupid little things!
The volume (20, 25, 30 - no in betweens)I can't stand the toilet roll being hung backwards, the light switches must all face the same way, the spread on my bread must go all the way to the edge, I will eat only even numbers of food etc.

I am a pinterest lover too! So addicting that website is. I recently reorganized all my pins by rooms in my house ha. How disorganized my account was, drove me nuts!

Welcome back to the midwest :) Last year about this time we made the decision to move back home to Wisconsin. It was our first time living in our hometown since we were married too.

Let me tell ya having family around to babysit, even for just one hour, is so nice! It was a rough 1st year, but we made it through, and now we are homeowners and my husband has a fulltime job. So worth all the stress!

Hope you move goes smoothly. If you ever need any advice or to talk to someone who as been there, don't be afraid to contact me. :)

Thanks for the follow and CONGRATS on your move!
What a cool degree your husband is pursuing! Best of luck! School during marriage can be trying, but the rewards and feelings of accomplishment are huge.
I look forward to reading more! :]

Pinterst is AMAZING and I followed you :) About the poor being in school part... is he also working? That's what I'm doing right now, full time work/and full time school, it's challenging but we don't have kids. I'm sure that'll make it more difficult, but you'll get through it, esp with the help of your family! Good luck :)
