I-Did-It-Myself Yarn Wreath

2013_03_24_0146

2013_03_24_0170

Wrapped in yarn, hand painted letter, hand crafted flowers from felt, and best of all – I made it!

I’ve never been very crafty, but I love wreaths and can never afford them. Buying these from someone else can cost $40-$50, so I decided to face the challenge of doing it myself!. (Maybe not challenging to some of you, but I'm the girl who debunked the myth that Art Class is an easy A.) I actually made this one for a friend as a thank you gift.

Total cost: $12
Not bad, right? Thinking of making a nautical one next! I’m picturing salmon, navy and turquoise as my front door’s next outfit.
